What is the cost of the banquet space?

Do I need to provide a deposit?
Yes, a 25% cost of your wedding is due with the signed contract to secure the venue.
What kind of menu selections and services does Sun Peaks Grand offer?
Choose between our many curated menus or one entirely customized. Our world-class culinary team is lead by Executive Chef Kartik Kumar, who’s philosophy is to lean into the talent of his international, young chefs to bring authentic flavours from across the world. Menus can be customized to accommodate dietary needs.
Does Sun Peaks Grand prepare any extra plates? When should I provide my final guaranteed attendance for my wedding?
Our Chef will prepare an additional 5% over the guaranteed attendee number to cover those unexpected guests. You will be expected to provide an attendance estimate with your initial booking to determine the ideal function space(s) to accommodate your group. Menus must then be pre-selected at least one month before the wedding day. Two weeks prior to the event date, we will require a more accurate estimate of guaranteed attendees. Finally, a guaranteed number is due 72 business hours before your event.
Will Sun Peaks Grand provide dinner wines? May we bring our own wine?
Most guests choose their wine selection from Sun Peaks Grand’s wine lists. Our liquor licence does not permit outside liquor to be brought inside.
Is water provided on the tables at dinner?
Yes, ice water will be pre-poured at the tables, and service will continue as needed throughout the dinner.
May we bring our own wedding cake?
Yes, you may bring your own wedding cake, displayed near the head table during the reception and dinner.
What are the costs should there be any damages?
Should any damage to the facility occur, the client will be held responsible for all costs for the replacement of, cleaning of and/or refurbishment of items damaged.
Does Sun Peaks Grand offer any audio-visual equipment?
Sun Peaks Grand provides a complimentary podium. We can arrange any additional items on your behalf through our suppliers.
