Sun Peaks Grand Terrace Ceremony
With the mountains above and the European-style village below, this romantic terrace offers an astonishing backdrop for your ceremony vows.
Your ceremony includes:
- Complimentary access for a ceremony rehearsal
- 3 hour booking period for your décor set up, take down, and ceremony
- Set up and take down of ceremony chairs
- Set up of music and signing table with white mid-length linen and a power source
- The opportunity for your guests to wait inside immediately before and right after your ceremony
- An indoor alternative venue in case of inclement weather
This venue accommodates up to 175 guests and is available for booking May through October.
Tod Mountain View
Tod Mountain View is tucked just a few minutes outside the heart of the village. A secluded spot within the trees, it is characterized by stunning mountain views.
Your ceremony includes:
- Complimentary access for a ceremony rehearsal
- 3 hour booking period for your décor set up, take down, and ceremony
- Set up and take down of ceremony chairs
- Set up of music and signing table with white mid-length linen
This venue accommodates up to 300 guests, and is available for booking in all seasons.
The Gardens at the Covered Bridge Ceremony
Across from the first tee of the Sun Peaks Golf Course, and tucked behind the village's Covered Bridge, The Gardens feature a beautiful floral backdrop and lawn in the summer, and a snowy haven in winter— an idyllic place to exchange your vows.
Your ceremony includes:
- Complimentary access for a ceremony rehearsal
- 3 hour booking period for your décor set up, take down, and ceremony
- Set up and take down of ceremony chairs
- Set up of music and signing table with white mid-length linen and a power source
This venue can accommodate up to 200 guests, and is available for booking in all seasons.
Sunburst Mountain Meadows & Chapel Ceremony
The majestic Sunburst Mountain Meadows is located near the top of the mountain. Accessed by chairlift, these sweeping meadows create an unforgettable scene for your ceremony.
Your ceremony includes:
- Complimentary access for a ceremony rehearsal
- 3 hour booking period for your décor set up, take down, and ceremony
- Set up and take down of ceremony chairs
- Set up of music and signing table with white mid-length line
- Walk-on chairlift tickets are available to be purchased for your guests and vendors at a discounted rate
This venue can accommodate up to 50 guests for winter nuptials and 60 in the summer months. Winter bookings are available from mid-November to early-April, and summer bookings from late-June to late-September.
Sunburst Chapel Ceremony
Nestled in the trees near the top of the mountain, the Sunburst Chapel is located just west of the Sunburst Lodge. Accessed by chairlift, this quaint chapel is an intimate hideaway for your ceremony.
Your ceremony includes:
- 3-hour booking period for your ceremony.
- A valid season pass, lift ticket or foot passenger ticket is required to ride the Sunburst Express Chairlift up to the chapel. There is no other access.
- There is no electricity in the chapel.
This venue can accommodate up to 12 guests. Winter bookings are available from mid-November to mid-March and summer bookings from late-June to late-September.
Sun Peaks Grand Ballroom Ceremony
In the heart of our hotel, the Sun Peaks Grand Ballroom epitomizes elegance with its 17-foot vaulted ceilings, rich wood features, and exquisite brass chandeliers. This superb venue can be divided into sections to match the size of your ceremony.
Your ceremony includes:
- Complimentary access for a ceremony rehearsal
- 3 hour booking period for your décor set up, take down, and ceremony
- Set up and take down of ceremony chairs
- Set up of music and signing table with white mid-length linen and a power source
This venue can accommodate up to 300 guests per section for seated, theatre style ceremonies. This venue is available for booking in all seasons.
Sun Peaks Grand Ballroom Reception
In the heart of our hotel, the Sun Peaks Grand Ballroom epitomizes elegance with its 17-foot vaulted ceilings, rich wood features, and exquisite brass chandeliers. This superb venue can be divided into sections to match the size of your ceremony.
Your reception includes:
- Access 3 hours prior to your event for decorating
- Set up and tear down of dance floor, chairs, tables, white mid-length linen, silverware, and glassware
- Bar and bartender
This venue can accommodate up to 300 guests for seated receptions, and is available for booking in all seasons.
Sun Peaks Grand Terrace Reception
With the mountains above and the European-style village below, this romantic terrace offers an astonishing backdrop for your wedding reception.
Your reception includes:
- Access 3 hours prior to your event for decorating
- Set up and tear down of chairs, tables, white mid-length linen, silverware, and glassware
- Bar and bartender
The Terrace is available for your guests’ enjoyment of dinner and speeches, while a booking of at least one portion of the Ballroom is required for the dance. The Ballroom booking will also then be available as an alternative indoor venue should the weather be inclement during your dinner.
This venue can accommodate up to 70 guests for seated receptions, and is available for booking in all seasons.
The Annex Day Lodge Reception
Located on the edge of the village at the base of Tod Mountain, The Annex Day Lodge has an industrial-chic aesthetic. This spacious, open-concept venue offers endless possibilities for you to imprint your distinct wedding vision.
Your reception includes:
- Access at 9:00 am on the day of for decorating
- Set up and tear down of Annex chairs, café style tables, white mid-length linen, silverware, and glassware
- Bar and bartender
This venue can accommodate up to 300 guests, and is available for bookings mid-May through late-October.
Micro-Ceremony Elopement Package
Say “I do” in an intimate ceremony with the village of Sun Peaks and surrounding mountains as your setting.
Ceremony Package
Your ceremony for up to 20 guests, will take place in one of the four venue options below:
- Sun Peaks Grand Terrace – available May to October
- Gardens by the Covered Bridge – available year-round
- Sunburst Meadows – available during summer chairlift operations, late June to late-September
- Sunburst Chapel – available during winter chairlift operations, late November to early April
The 90 minutes ceremony setup includes a signing table, chairs (at the Terrace venue), and incomparable views.
This package for the couple includes the Micro-Ceremony Elopement plus:
- 2-night stay at Sun Peaks Grand Hotel in a Standard Deluxe Room. Room upgrades are available for purchase.
- Welcome amenities in their room
- Hotel parking daily
- Breakfast daily in Mantles Restaurant for the couple
- Three chairlift passes* for the couple and a photographer to capture stunning mountaintop photos
* Lift access may not be available during off-season dates. Additional passes are available for a fee
